University of Hull

Nuway have successfully been awarded the tender to install Audio Visual Equipment into 27 Lecture Theatre Refurbishments in the University of Hull’s Wilberforce Building.

Within this contract Nuway begin the rollout of AMX Room Manager for the University.

Nuway are extremely pleased to have been awarded the contract which cements Nuway as one of the UK’s leading AV companies.

University of Nottingham

Nuway are delighted to have been selected as a contracted supplier to the University of Nottingham via their Framework through the European Tender Exercise.

The Team

Nuway have an exceptional pool of experience in the Audio Visual industry cumulatively spanning over 100 years. Our team consists of system designers & sales, CAD Technicians, Project Managers, Installation Engineers, Control System Programmers & Service Engineers. All fully qualified with the right training to design, install and manage integrated systems at the forefront of technology.

Chris Bursell – Managing Director

Chris joined his father Harry Bursell to develop the family business & took over as Managing Director in 1998. As well as his avid interest in all things AV Chris’s hobbies also include Trail Bike Riding & Enduro Racing. Chris is married with two kids.


Danny Hird – General Manager

Danny joined Nuway in 1992 as a junior working through all aspects of the company before settling into the installation department, Danny looks after system designs & the general day to day running of the departments. Having overseen numerous large scale projects he has an envied wealth of experience in the high end market.

Phil Smith - Installations Manager

Phil has been at Nuway since 2006 coming from another Audio Visual installation company, he has over 10 years experience in the AV industry. Since joining Nuway he has managed a large number of successful 6 figure projects which have varied in lead times from a couple of months to over a year.

Nigel Purkins – Service Manager

Nigel joined Nuway in 1993 as Service Manager, he has over 20 years experience in electronics servicing with Panasonic, Hitachi, Toshiba & Sony to name only a few.

 

Sarah Waterton – Accounts Manager

Sarah has looked after our accounts department since 1999, taking care of the day to day running of the department.
